1. Overview

The Solenoid Pulse Valve, commonly called Diaphragm Pulse Valve, is a key pneumatic actuator dedicated to pulse jet dust cleaning systems. As the core control part between the air reservoir and dust collector blowpipe, it receives electric signals from the pulse controller and instantly opens to eject high-pressure compressed air. The powerful air shock removes dust cake on the surface of filter bags or filter cartridges. Different from material discharge valves, this valve is designed for gas circuit rapid on-off control, supporting long-cycle, high-frequency jet work, and is an indispensable accessory to ensure low resistance and high efficiency operation of baghouse and cartridge dust collectors.

2. Working Principle

Compressed air is stored in the air tank connected to the pulse valve inlet. When the pulse controller sends an electric signal, the solenoid coil is energized to open the small pilot orifice. The pressure balance of the upper and lower diaphragm chambers is broken instantly, the main diaphragm opens rapidly, and high-pressure air sprays into the dust collector blowpipe in a millisecond-level impact airflow. After the signal disappears, the solenoid resets, the pressure rebounds, the diaphragm closes tightly, and the jet cleaning stops. The cyclic opening and closing realizes automatic, intermittent pulse ash removal for filter media.
